Jan 3, 2020 - Zena's Map:

(see important Dec 2021 ***Update at the bottom of this post).

This map was provided by Knights Templar Researcher, the late Zena Halpern.

The french was improperly translated to "The Earth Vaulted Bay" when it should read, "The Vault, at the base of Earth (alt. translation, "underground"). I searched far and wide to find any reference of the phrase Earth Vaulted Bay and couldn't find it anywhere. And the 's' in 'bas' was mistaken for for a 'y'. Look at the other 'Ss' on the map and you'll see they look similar.

This is most likely to have a "double meaning" in that it is not only underground, but is at the base of the Tree of Life, known as the "Earth" node.

Here's the mistranslation . . .

The 'Tree of Life' was marked on the island with large boulders.

Mapping the planets on the Tree of Life was also widely known, see examples:

Example 3

Example 4

*** UPDATE: Dec 2021 - An island-wide Magnetometer survey shows there's something underground at this "Vault" location, also the Earth node of the Tree of Life.

Magnetometer can detect metals underground, to ~30 feet.

Let's zoom in for a closer look . . .

OTHER THEORIES AND OBSERVATIONS:

1. The Eye of the Swamp: Could this be the "perpetual spring" that Sir Francis Bacon was researching? Arial photos of the "drained" swamp shows water seeping out of the eye.

2. Pile of Rocks on the Western Side of the Swamp - Could this mark where a tunnel runs under the swamp and connects to the other side at this point?

3. Base of Nolan's Cross - This would be the "Moon" node on the "Tree of Life" - the Goddess Tanit, represented by the iron cross found on Oak Island and its likeness carved into the walls in the Templar prison in Domme, France, was of great importance to the Templars and it makes me think they buried something important there. If you had precious religious artifacts (ie, Holy Grail and Ark of the Covenant), you would want to keep them away from the vault that was used like a bank for multiple deposits. My best guess here would be the Holy Grail.

4. Mercy node on the Tree of Life - this node is actually in the swamp and this is where a "cloud" of silver and gold was detected in the water. The ARk of the Covenant had a nickname, it was called the "Seat of Mercy" - why not place it safely at the bottom of the swamp (which is why I think it was created). Historical accounts describe this artifact as being both extraordinarily powerful and dangerous (you cannot touch it or you will die). Coincidentally, there is a stone platform that was built in this area of the swamp - perhaps it was built to aid in depositing this treasure.

5. The Valve - Valves on ships are used to control the flow of fluids. Did they engineer a way to flood the tunnels on the Western drumlin if needed? They may have needed a way to cut off access in the tunnels if they were in battle and got to a point that they thought they'd be defeated.

6. Broken Pottery - Broken pottery was added to cannon loads to shred the sails of their opponent. When they overtook a ship, they would plunder not only treasure, but most of the dishes and similar ceramic items to use in future battles.

7. This Ship in the Swamp - could this be the ship that was stolen by an American turned British loyalist and brought to Oak Island? Or was there an incident that kept the workers from wanting to touch or move the ark again, so they kept it on the ship and sunk it?
